Blogging the Livtopia Experience: Relocation and Travel News for Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Dominican Republic

new property listings all over Central America

December 4th, 2007

These are just a few of the latest that we’ve been uploading over the last week or so to Livtopia’s quickly expanding properties listing section. Above is right on the coast in La Paz, Mexico.

We’re finding - perhaps it’s obvious - that visitors enjoy looking at the various properties available far more than they do at any other part of the website. We end up with a lot less control over the photos and the content of each one than we do with most any other area of the website that we’re building. Above is a 3 bedroom home in Acapulco.

But that lack of total oversight is what makes the listings attractive. ThereĀ  really are a lot of secret finds down in there (if you look around), than what might at first appear. And while Mexico is still our most popular destination, properties in Costa Rica and Panama (below) are coming into their own. The Boquete house below is listed at just US$180,000.

I am awaiting further expansion, especially to the south. I have become somewhat negative towards Mexico because of the drug
problems and the lack of government structure addressing the problems. Uruguay seems to be more attractive for investing by
people in the upper age levels. Panama seems to be too far advanced into the movement; likewise Costa Rica.

I do appreciate your input, however, I just thought my observations might have some merit
